It is my belief that the incongruity between the theories of relativity and quantum mechanics will not be solved mathematically. Ultimately math and physics will explain the unified theory, but the inspiration will come from artists and philosophers who, standing on the shoulders of their predecessors, can grasp the concepts of a universal code, which may be known for now as "Strings"

The Mandelbrot set, the double helix of DNA and the existence of black holes all display a pattern of cycles and regeneration. I believe that time, space and reality are in a constant state of flux and rejuvenation. The absolute core of all that exists, I think is like the eye of a hurricane. More precisely a black hole. Or even multiple centers for multiple universes. The/these center/s can be known as enlightenment, nirvana, heaven or the supreme being if you will...the forces of positive and negative that drive all of creation and destruction. Therein a continuous loop of time and space is consumed and then reborn. The universe/s, I theorize, is/are both expanding and collapsing on opposite sides of itself/themselves simultaneously.

The symbol for infinity shows the center to have no beginning or end. Following the line of this symbol, forward becomes reverse, up becomes down and so on. (the 'ten dimensions' theory of 'Strings' is lost on me here, but read on).. This concept can be explained by Einsteins theory of relativity on a large scale.

The problem with applying the principles of quantum mechanics to the larger universe is that scientists are (erroneously) extrapolating their formulas under the assumption that the universe is constantly expanding. I believe they are wrong. I also believe that positive and negative forces marshal each and every atomic particle into action or stasis, thereby creating a subatomic model analogous with the larger universe.

'For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction'. This, I believe, happens on an emotional and spiritual level as well. It is more than cause and effect. There is chemistry involved in all of life's emotions. Smell, sight, taste, sound etc. can orchestrate the release of adrenaline, endorphins, blood flow or saliva. Even memory is believed to be a chemical imprint that can re-invigorate the senses based on past experience. Anyway...Lust begets satiation. Hate>Anger. Love>Peace and so on. These harmonious or opposite forces drive the atomic engines that make up every living thing.

Quantum mechanics can handle explaining concepts on a sub-atomic level. If we assume that the universe is NOT ever expanding, then I think the two theory's can co-exist. The missing element is the stimuli for setting all of the atomic and chemical reactions that spark life into evolutionary motion.

Here is the hard part... Strings.. These theorized subatomic bands or wavelengths are easier to explain in light of my previous comments. I think they are like musical notes or vibrations. (this is someone else's revelation-not mine) that dictate the movement and formulate the "Universal Code" for all of creation. The tone for each of these strings, I believe is created by the (An) initial "Big Bang" of compressed matter at the center of the (our) universe. This process I think is ongoing though. See I believe that there is no beginning or end to the universe. Not just a 'big crunch' but plural universal activity.

We are only limited by our perceptions and our ignorance. But, I also think that the collective consciousness of mankind can alter the reverberations of these strings. Some individuals will shape this awareness, for better or worse, more than others e.g. Jesus, Buddha, Hitler etc..

The power and the glory of these concepts can be mutually enjoyed by the religious and the humanists (if this theory could be proven ). Life and decay then become the alpha and omega. Spiritual and intellectual enlightenment, wisdom, heaven or almost any theological/philosophical belief that exists, can be supported by this theory.

If you consider these 'strings' as wavelengths, could human awareness be the receiver of these codes. Would time and space even exist without intelligent life to observe and analyze it?

Much like radio frequencies, signals are picked-up from various sources and are processed on both the conscious and sub-conscious level. Humans can compute facial expression and body language, for example, which would constitute what could be called the 'chemistry of communication'.

The waves or 'vibes' that we (hypothetically) broadcast have a rippling effect on those we encounter. Harmonious waves advance the well being of all. Evil and hate disrupt the peace and happiness of others in varying degrees. Ignorance and fear prolong the struggle between good and evil. But does one exist without the other. Is the struggle not the purpose Without resistance what is there to strive for. (BTW these are rhetorical questions )

Anybody care to join in this discussion? Please do.

Recognizing great power at the center of the universe is an accepted theological and philosophical concept. The calm at the center of the storm is a comforting idea. This nirvana can be achieved without being physically there. Peace can come through faith, knowledge and enlightenment. Karma, destiny or re-incarnation are theories of arriving at this 'place' of peace.

It is good to stand on the shoulders of those great minds before us. But, if we do not elevate ourselves, then they just block our view. It's like John Nash said in "A Beautiful Mind" (paraphrase) going to class will ruin your mind. ;)

As Hubble and others found out; there is not a yardstick long enough to accurately measure the furthest parts of the universe (in order to determine the time of the (our) initial 'big-bang', by running the calculations in reverse) Cephids demonstrate that the universe does appear to be expanding, by formulating distances between objects in our known realm. The assumption is that everything is constantly expanding. It's as if the stars and planets are like raisins in rising dough. These objects are moving with and not through space. The earth is seemingly in the center of all this movement. But instead of infinite outward movement there is a bending of light, time and space at the apogee of the outer waves of expansion it would seem.

Patterns of magnetism and gravity can demonstrate the strong pull from a central source. This pattern of attraction and repulsion is repeated in much of natural law. From atoms to storms to solar systems, there are centers, around which things spin or rotate. Why would these principles not be extrapolated into a view of all of creation? Why can quantum mechanics not be unified with Einsteins theory. Until now the calculations become unstable. Without anomalies it would appear that the disruption could be an immense black hole(s) that swallows and regurgitates all of time and space. Matter is compressed into a tiny mass and then exploded again to regenerate the process. Perhaps there are poles at opposite sides of all black holes. This could cause the swirling and expanding and contracting of time and space that is constantly being recycled by unthinkable power. Just as we are trying to collide subatomic particles to recreate a miniature big bang event, is this (the compressing of energy at the event horizon of black holes) not an observable example of impending nuclear fission on a massive scale? Are the Gamma Ray bursts or blazars that result from these events indeed recreations of big bangs?

There is a an everlasting cycle of birth and decay. My theory is as valid as any until a telescope or vessel can reach the points of no return. It has not been that long ago that science determined that neutrinos had mass and which direction they are going. So 'everything that can happen will' I believe is the mantra in theoretical physics...

I don't know that I believe so much in spirits as I do in 'lingering vibrations' that some, more than others, could be attuned to. It has been said that the words of Jesus and other historical figures voices are still reverberating. We could record them if only they could be distinguished and identified. Sounds impossible, but how small or insignificant is any thing relative to time and space?

As I said earlier, vibrations created on a sub-atomic level could dictate emotion and behavior much like the amino acids of deoxyribo-nucleic acid form the human genome and specific traits in individuals. "Strings" may be the transmitters of all that is physical and spiritual.

Hyper perceptibly or pre-cognitive thought would be interesting to discuss. Any takers here? anybody...

I have trouble with a traditional God image. I do think that there is a higher power which rules the universe. How could there be hope and understanding of beauty without the ability to have faith in the order of the universe? I have faith that my brakes follow the laws of physics. I have faith that when I cross the road, most people won't purposely run me over. I also think that well wishes, prayer or collective consciousness has an effect on the physical and mental attitude of our surroundings. It can work for the religious or the spiritual individuals. Without a higher power, we would all go insane and kill each other....Wait a minute...some of us do. :o Even more reason for me to believe that positive energy, specifically love and good will, are the strongest powers in the universe. Perception is all of reality.

Without proper stimulation we wind down like a spinning top. The perception I have of my current reality has been jarred by life changing circumstances.

I've come to realize that I need the stimulation that is provided by the connection with other souls - both here and in my new setting. Without it, stagnation is inevitable. I need to be wound up and propelled by nuclear powered emotion.... guided by insightful reason and set free by unbridled imagination.

Here is an interesting link regarding the power of collective conciousness:

String theory may have some roots in eastern thought, just as do many philosophies. Broader truth, I think however, becomes apparent sometimes when the hybrid evolution of thought has reached a certain threshold.

Intuition and inspiration are closely linked. You might call this dreaming. The distinction I would make is that dreams mean nothing, outside our own private realm, if you do not ground them in research and development. They also mean nothing if they do not connect with anyone else to the minimum standard of sparking the imagination. It can happen that a thought or theory is way ahead of it's time. However, it must have enough original accessibility for someone else to take the ball and run with it. Without those criteria though, they may just be delusions or an alternate reality. Everything is possible.

The problem with trying to prove the spiritual side of anything is measurement. You can't rely on any predictable outcome, without empirical data. So nut balls and geniuses sometimes must share the same bench. :P

Here is where much of my vibration theory starts evolving. The sub atomic particles that may be at the root of all reality and the stimuli that is used to marshal these forces, may determine what we do and the direction we go - based on our reactions. In other words there may be atomic energy involved in reason and emotion - yin and yang - good and evil - positive and negative etc etc......The push and pull of the opposite forces is what drives our infinite, ever-expanding / ever-collapsing universe. Read more if you care to get involved.

Continued...

I believe that emotions are evoked and powered by subatomic stimuli. The physiological changes in us that occur as the result of emotions are what must be balanced by reason. Reason therefore may be the processor of the stimuli that makes us in effect bio-computers - replete with electro-chemical capability and data storage used in selected and elective behaviors. i.e., intent

The vibrations that are emitted by our intent, thoughts and actions are, I believe, sent out into the world to grapple with all of the myriad of other 'noise' out there. These are the same 'strings' that are the foundation of my theory on the 'universal code' i.e. all of creation has evolved at the orchestration and behest of big bang events - repeatedly...an ever expanding universe, predicated to follow the leadership of the most charismatic directors of emotions and spiritual wave energy. Jesus, Mohamed, Hitler are all examples of those able to have their voices continue to reverberate to this day and beyond.

I'll further maintain my view that we are all nuclear reactors and transmitters, capable of sending and receiving signals.

Faith, ESP and intuition, I believe, can be explained by the phenomenon of subatomic waves. We are physio-chemical and atomic machines - more capable than radio's, telephones and televisions. The potential will only be realized as the understanding of our capabilities is realized.

Hyper sensitivity has allowed me to vicariously experience the joy and pain of others. How else is this possible? Some inexplicable precognition has occurred in virtually everyone's experience. Can anyone deny that?

Perhaps the only one's who believe in ESP are those that possess the ability to transmit or receive the information. Moreover, what if faith, love and lust, as examples, are actual discernible signals that have their roots in ''wave or vibration'' transmission and reception? Can the physiological sensations that are created by these stimuli not be explained this way? ...please weigh in, or tell me I crazy. ;)

What rings true and strikes a chord in others - be it good or evil - is what sets the course of human development. We are now in a state of flux. Politics, fundamentalism, and multi-national corporate exploitation are all beating their drums. Do you have the resolve and reason to calm these forces?...

I'd like to add that the miracle and complexity of the human machine is exponentially evolving. Not only are we apparently able to communicate more quickly through technology; our abilities to understand one another is also more apparent. The brain, using all the ''senses'' can read signals in a myriad of ways. - The complex geometry of body and facial language, the psychology of using our understanding of each other and human nature to propagate a self serving agenda (Right or Left wing) - The chemistry of emotional reaction and the affect it has on human behavior. All these and more make up the eternal variables of good vs evil. Will you recognize how the your actions contribute to the ''Butterfly Effect''? Which way is the wind blowing?

If virtually all communication is accomplished by the emission and reception of wave energy; it seems as though the ideas being expressed here are fundamentally sound. Please read the following references that explain yet another way of understanding wave energy:

The sine wave or sinusoid is a function that occurs often in mathematics, physics, signal processing, audition, electrical engineering, and many other fields. Its most basic form is:

which describes a wavelike function of time (t) with:

peak deviation from center = A (aka amplitude)
angular frequency (radians per second)
phase = è
When the phase is non-zero, the entire waveform appears to be shifted in time by the amount è/ù seconds. A negative value represents a delay, and a positive value represents a "head-start".
The sine wave is important in physics because it retains its wave shape when added to another sine wave of the same frequency and arbitrary phase. It is the only periodic waveform that has this property. This property leads to its importance in Fourier analysis and makes it acoustically unique.

In general, the function may also have:

* a spatial dimension, x (aka position), with frequency k (also called wavenumber)
* a non-zero center amplitude, D (also called DC offset)

which looks like this:

y(t) = A\cdot \sin(kx - \omega t+ \theta ) + D.\,

The wavenumber is related to the angular frequency by:.

k = { \omega \over c } = { 2 \pi f \over c } = { 2 \pi \over \lambda }

where ë is the wavelength, f is the frequency, and c is the speed of propagation.

This equation gives a sine wave for a single dimension, thus the generalized equation given above gives the amplitude of the wave at a position x at time t along a single line. This could, for example, be considered the value of a wave along a wire.

In two or three spatial dimensions, the same equation describes a traveling plane wave if position x and wavenumber k are interpreted as vectors, and their product as a dot product. For more complex waves such as the height of a water wave in a pond after a stone has been dropped in, more complex equations are needed.

Occurrences

This wave pattern occurs often in nature, including ocean waves, sound waves, and light waves. Also, a rough sinusoidal pattern can be seen in plotting average daily temperatures for each day of the year, although the graph may resemble an inverted cosine wave.

Graphing the voltage of an alternating current gives a sine wave pattern. In fact, graphing the voltage of direct current full-wave rectification system gives an absolute value sine wave pattern, where the wave stays on the positive side of the x-axis.

A cosine wave is said to be "sinusoidal", because cos(x) = sin(x + ð / 2), which is also a sine wave with a phase-shift of ð/2. Because of this "head start", it is often said that the cosine function leads the sine function or the sine lags the cosine.

The human ear can recognize single sine waves because sounds with such a waveform sound "clean" or "clear" to humans; some sounds that approximate a pure sine wave are whistling, a crystal glass set to vibrate by running a wet finger around its rim, and the sound made by a tuning fork.

To the human ear, a sound that is made up of more than one sine wave will either sound "noisy" or will have detectable harmonics; this may be described as a different timbre.

Fourier series

In 1822, Joseph Fourier, a French mathematician, discovered that sinusoidal waves can be used as simple building blocks to 'make up' and describe nearly any periodic waveform including square waves or even the irregular sound waves made by human speech. The process is named Fourier analysis. Fourier used it as an analytical tool in the study of waves and heat flow. It is frequently used in signal processing and the statistical analysis of time series. It has found applications in many other scientific fields, including probability (in particular, the proof of the central limit theorem relies upon Fourier analysis), the geometry of numbers, the isoperimetrical problem, Heisenberg's inequality, recurrence of random walks, and proofs of quadratic reciprocity. Also see Fourier series and Fourier transform.

Is it not obvious that we have yet to unlock all of the codes that determine influence and evolution?
